    Step 1 - Launch Roblox Studio

    To download the app, visit Roblox.com on your preferred browser. You can also download Roblox Studio on your PC or Tab.

    Step 2 - Create an Account

    This is the next step after downloading the Roblox application. Fill out the correct information- your name and birthday. Ensure that you give an accurate answer as the text and features will be customized based on your age.

    Then, create a username and password. Crosscheck your details and click the signup button.

    Step 3 - Install Roblox Studio

    After creating an account, you will see a CTA that says “Download Studio”. Click on the button, and wait for it to download. Once the download is completed, open the download and run the studio. You will be redirected to log in to your account again.

    Step 4 - Get Familiar With Buttons

    It is important that you get familiar with buttons and functions. Every button has its own functions and you need to be able to differentiate between them when creating your game. Here are the primary buttons and what they represent on Roblox Studio.

    • E- Move Up
    • Q- Move Down
    • D- Move Right
    • A- Move Left
    • W- Move Forward
    • S- Move Backward

    Other functions include the following:

    • Floatable Part- this function denies the law of gravity as it floats in the air.
    • Block Part- this allows you to resize your blocks. You can either expand it or shrink the size. You can also rotate it to face other directions.

    You must test your game before publishing it on the platform. To test your game, click on the ‘Play’ button displayed in the menu in the top right corner of your screen. Then, guide the player across each obstacle using the jump, glide, and other functions implemented in your game.

    Once you are satisfied, click on the stop button to return to editing mode.
